I'm Carlos. I work in finance, have a family, run businesses, and spend a lot of time thinking about how all of those things connect.

This is not my advisory site. It is not a sales funnel. I am not going to tell anyone exactly what to do with their money.

I started this because personal finance can get weirdly polished once someone writes about it after the fact. You usually see the final decision. You do not see the boring setup, the questions, the wrong turns, or the part where you realize an account has been sitting there earning almost nothing.

I want this to be a useful record of the real work behind a family's money. I will share the systems and lessons. I will not publish live balances, account numbers, passwords, home details, or private information about my family.
